Want to eat "healthy" but are super tired of the same boring recipes? 😝 I'm a HUGE huge fan of Italian food! (When u grow up eating meals made by an Italian mama, how can you not be) Soooo I often throw together dishes which include the hearty taste but not the calories!
◽️Heat 2 teas olive oil in pan on stove.
◽️Slice up 5 large mushrooms
◽️Slice 2 small yellow squash
◽️Slice 1 medium onion (if desired)
◽️Add veggies to pan and sauté for 5 minutes or so
◽️Add 1 15oz can diced tomatoes (no salt added) - do not drain! Add everything to the pan
◽️let all veggies cook together for about 5 minutes then remove from pan
◽️Add 1lb of ground turkey to pan
◽️Cook meat and season with as much Italian seasoning as u desire! I use probably 2 T . I am generous with this because I want that Italian taste! Look for an Italian seasoning blend that does NOT contain salt!*
◽️ADD Himalayan Pink Salt to meat (to taste)
◽️Once meat is completely cooked add the veggie mixture to the meat and cover for 5 minutes over low heat
◽️Plate 1/2 to 1 cup of your pasta choice (GF Pasta, Whole Wheat Pasta, Zoodles, Spaghetti Squash) and add meat & veggies to the pasta!
◽️ TOP with Romano Cheese! I eye ball this...just don't turn it into a bunny hill of cheese over your healthy meal 😜
*add crushed red pepper flakes for a little spice if that's your thang 🔥
