4 years ago, I personally was 10lbs pounds over the weight I wanted to be. My daughter was 14 months old and I was LOST. My nutrition sucked. My body was angry. I was frequently sick, GI issues, bloated all the time and I felt like crap. After being diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis which turned into Hashimoto's Disease, I had to do something. ENTER that color coded container system you probably have seen over and over again on social media. A few tiny boxes of colors where you measure your food and you eat in the proper portions for your body type.
At first I thought it was a nightmare.
It was complicated and annoying.
But within 72 hours of following recipes and actually using the containers to measure my food, NOT EAT OUT OF (very important tip) I began to feel better. I felt lighter... so to speak! And after 21 solid days of using those dang things, i felt incredible!!! I lost the weight I wanted to lose. I never felt starving. I did have a slight detox that lasted like 2 days (headache) because you don't load these beautiful containers with junk but the good stuff annnnnd my nutrition prior was a joke. But guys, it was the VERY START to what I constantly refer to as "My Comeback" hehe. I was in control of my food, I was working out again and the best part...I started to feel like myself.
