A few nights ago I had left off Spaghetti sauce on the fridge and we all know that letting that go to waste is a sin.
So I threw together this recipe in the crockpot on low for 5 hours and bam... delicous and healthy chili.
1 lb of lean ground turkey, cooked.
1 can of kidney or black beans, washed and drained.
3 medium uncooked sweet potatoes, cut into bite size pieces.
4 cups of spaghetti sauce (I’ll create an additional blog post of my homemade recipe later)
2 cups chicken stock
2 or 3 teas of chili powder
1 teas of cumin
1 teas of cinnamon
1 teas of salt
2 cloves of garlic
Add everything into the crockpot and cook on low for 5 hours!
Top chili with cheddar cheese and enjoy!
