4 Week Meal Plan!

MEAL PREP TIPS & TRICKS!

  1. Make a meal prep plan and make a grocery list and stick to it: We've got the plan and list done for you - you just have to follow it!!

  2. Invest in quality food-storage containers: A small investment in food containers of various sizes to suit your needs will make a world of difference. It’s a good idea to choose one container type and buy several that stack and store neatly.

  3. Batch cook: Choose recipes or mix-and-match ingredients that are similar so you can cook up a big batch of foods and eat multiple times throughout the day or week.

  4. Portion, then plate: Meal-prep containers are your new best friend: All you have to do is portion out your meals in advance after you’ve batch cooked for the week.

  5. Look for shortcuts: Buy pre-cut veggies and fruits, cooked lentils, or rotisserie chicken. Tuna is an easy no-cook protein to add to salads or snacks.

  6. Get on the Mason Jar bandwagon: You can find them at most grocery or big box stores, they’re microwave safe (just remember to remove the lid), and you can use them for so many different types of meals.

  7. Frozen fruits and veggies can be just as good as fresh

  8. Don't forget to switch things up: These plans are just examples for you - feel free to mix and match between the weeks as well!

  9. Be mindful of food safety: Whatever day you choose to meal prep, it’s important to remember that most foods will keep in the fridge for 3 to 5 days.

  10. Keep your eyes (and mind) on the prize: All of this meal prep is for a purpose — to help you reach your health and fitness goals.
